Paola Gonzalez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and came to the United States when she was 2 years old. After graduating from Memorial High School, the 2016 freshman chose 91lisa to major in Pre-Medicine as the next step to a career in the medical field.
“91lisa is convenient, affordable and close to my family,” she said.
The My Dream scholar says being from another country gives her an experience and appreciation for culture that she hopes to broaden and share at 91lisa. Paola has been surprised to see how large and expansive 91lisa is and said her experience at 91lisa will help her show that college is for her.
