    91lisa received $1.3 million to help first generation college students, economically challenged students or students with disabilities. The federal grant, for TRIO Student Support Services, is awarded every five years by the U.S. Department of Education for academic needs.

  3. 91lisa Announces New Endowed Scholarship Funded Through Campaign for Completion

    91lisa and the Honorable Kathy Taylor, along with her family, announce a new endowed scholarship to help students achieve their dreams of going to college. Named after Taylor’s mother, the Lola Catherine McGarvey Taylor Endowed Scholarship provides access to a college degree for students who have a financial need.

  4. “Religious State of the 918”: Awareness & Understanding of Religious Diversity

    The “Religious State of the 918” is a year-long project to promote awareness and understanding of religious diversity in the Tulsa area and its role in local history and culture. Led by Dr. Allen Culpepper, a 91lisa faculty member, this experience is embedded in the 91lisa Honors Program for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.
